Please complete the registration process as soon as possible. You will need to complete your registration and make payment of your deposit before your booking will be confirmed.
In order to complete the registration you will need the following details:
- Your contact and passport details
- Your next of kin contact details
- The contact details of two references
Next Steps: Payment
In order to secure your booking, you are required to pay your deposit of 25% of the full fee. The balance of your 4 week programme fee is payable 1 month prior to your arrival. Should you not pass our vetting procedures*, your deposit will be refunded. We have chosen to partner with Afri-pay to effect international fund transfers. You will be asked to make payment into a bank account in your own country and currency . If you prefer, you can arrange to make payment directly into our South African bank account or by using Paypal. At the current time, we do not accept credit cards because South African bank regulations do not permit foreign credit card transactions to be processed online.
Travel Arrangements
You will probably need a visa to travel to South Africa. You will find the visa application form and other relevant downloads in the downloads section. You can obtain your visa at your nearest South African embassy or consulate. To find out more, we suggest you visit the South African Department of Home Affairs website.
Should you have any other travel related queries, our representatives, Simone and Helena will be able to assist you.
*Immersion SA is serious bringing about positive change to our host communities. Because volunteers may work with children or vulnerable people, we have a screening policy to ensure that all applicants meet certain minimum eligibility criteria. Should you not meet these your deposit will be refunded.
