Early Childhood Development
The Early Childhood Development project is an existing project in 4 community preschools. This project is staffed by 12 local teachers/carers and 1 skilled Early Childhood project manager.
The ideal volunteers are either qualified to, or have experience in, working with young children and an interest in education. Volunteers working on this project will work with local teachers to develop a positive learning environment, teaching songs & games, interact one to one with children and perform monitoring and evaluating of the project (M&E). The community benefits from the skills transfer through mentorship and on-site experience, one to one time with children, and exposure to new cultures and ideas. Through M&E the project will be carefully guided throughout the process to ensure its success.
